The Korea Society is excited to announce an in-residency fellowship at our office in the center of Manhattan.
The Korea Society’s dynamic programming, combined with our prime location at 350 Madison Avenue, offers fellows convenient access to leading experts and institutions across policy, business, finance, culture, the arts, and academia.

An Unrivaled Experience
Fellows receive a dedicated office space, a Korea Society email address, institutional support, a platform for public presentation, access to professional networking opportunities, J visa sponsorship support, and invitations to exclusive Korea Society events.
Fellows also have unique opportunities to engage with The Korea Society’s president, staff, scholars, affiliates, and board members, including leading figures from the finance and corporate sectors as well as former U.S. Government officials including White House, State Department and Department of War.
A Distinctive Curriculum and Experiential Learning
Fellows conduct in-depth research and complete an original project related to Korea or U.S.-Korea relations during their tenure at The Korea Society. TKS staff support this work by connecting fellows with relevant experts, resources, and networks to advance their research.
The fellowship culminates in a final report, published on The Korea Society’s website, promoted on our social media, and presented to our audiences in-person and digitally.
Optional enrichment opportunities include a curated visit to Washington, D.C., featuring meetings with policy and industry thought leaders; mentoring sessions with junior TKS staff and members; participation in Korea Society programs and events; and monthly roundtable lunches.
